WMS is closely monitoring the situation and is keeping in close contact with the local health authorities and the venue in Halifax to ensure the health and safety of all on site participants of WMS 2022 in Halifax, Canada – please read carefully before beginning your registration.
These guidelines apply to delegates and accompanying persons.

Fully vaccinated foreign nationals can enter Canada for discretionary (non-essential) reasons, such as tourism and to attend events, but you must:

People with a valid medical reason that prevents them from getting vaccinated can request an exception from the requirement to show proof of full vaccination for events and activities. Proof of full vaccination – REQUIRED DURING REGISTRATION
Original proof of full vaccination records is acceptable in digital formats or as clear photos, screenshots and photocopies. You will be required to upload your vaccination certificate during registration.

The venue has agreed to approach each case individually. Generally, a signed, hand-written note from a family doctor or nurse practitioner is acceptable. In some additionally exceptional circumstances, a decision can be made between the venue and the event organiser on how to handle specific, one-off cases.
